Manali –Sarchu – Leh – Uleytokpo – Lamayuru – Kargil - Srinagar Back Chandigarh by Toyota Innova ,Mahindera Xylo ,Tempo Traveler (10 days/ 09 nights)
Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Chandigarh – Manali: (320 kms/ 8 hrs)
On arrival pick up from Railway station or airport.Dept to Manali.Overnight stay
Day 02:- Manali - Sarchu (222 kms/ 10 hrs)
Early Morning Dept to Sarchu enroute crossing over Rohtang Pass (3980 m) and a few villages in Lahaul valley like Sissu, Gondla and confluence of Chandra & Bhaga rivers at Tandi.On arrival check in camp. Overnight in camp.
Day 03: Sarchu - Leh (253 kms/ 10 hrs)
Morning Dept to Leh crossing over Lachang La (5065 m) and Tanglang La (5360 m). On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Leh
After breakfast drive for full day sight seeing of Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis monastery and Stok Palace Museum. Return to Leh. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Leh - Uleytokpo (70 kms/ 6 hrs)
After Breakfast drive to Uletokpo enroute visiting Basgo Palace, Liker and Alchi monasteries.Drive to Uletokpo and check in at Uley Ethnic Resort. Overnight in camp.
Day 06: Uleytokpo-Kargil (166 kms/ 6 hrs)
After breakfast drive onwards to Lamayuru monastery which is one of the oldest & an important monastery of Ladakh region. Travel onwards to Kargil enroute visiting Giant Buddha at Mulbek. overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Kargil - Srinagar (204 kms/ 8 hrs)
Morning after Breakfast drive to Srinagar passing through Drass. Arrive at Srinagar by evening. Overnight at house boat.
Day 08: Srinagar
Morning Dept for sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background.Overnight at houseboat
Day 09: Departure Srinagar
Transfer to airport to board flight for onward destination.
